A deliberate workflow
Suggestions help you find a place to start. Human review is required before you share the result.

Approve or reject every candidate. Add manual boxes wherever needed, and check pages that need a closer look.
Approved areas are painted over and affected pages are baked into images. Download a ZIP with PDFs, a review CSV, and a printable summary.
More than a black box
The output is checked for approved text, unexpected matches from enabled rules and your word list, and leftover document features. A file that fails is excluded from the ZIP.
This checks extractable content and document structure; it does not inspect the pixels of an image or replace your visual review.

Read before you redact
Scanned or textless pages have no automatic detection. Inspect them yourself, draw manual boxes, and mark them checked. Also inspect low-confidence text pages directly.
A redacted page becomes an image: you cannot select or search its text. Pages with visible annotations or form fields are also baked. You can choose to flatten every page.
Add names and other free-form sensitive information to your word list. Format rules cover selected US and Canadian patterns, and may miss content or flag harmless matches.
Inspect every page and the exported PDF before sharing. The tool does not establish legal suitability for your documents or your use case.
